Bologna 2018

From 10-12 October 2017, Bologna hosted the fifth edition of Meet in Italy for Life Sciences at Opificio Golinelli, which saw the participation of over 420 organizations from 37 countries.

Meet in Italy for Life Sciences 2018 was promoted and organized by the Emilia-Romagna Region with the technical support of ASTER – the Consortium for innovation and technology transfer in Emilia-Romagna and supported by Europen contributes of Emilia-Romagna Region – ERDF ROP 2014-2020.

The inauguration of the event and the opening conference “Investment trends in healthcare” had taken place in the morning of October 10th.

Afterwards, the first two days had been organized around 3 parallel streams (Brokerage event,
Italian Healthcare Venture Forum 2018 and Thematic workshops) aimed at strengthening the Life Sciences sector and facilitating networking between companies, research centres and laboratories, investors, startups, national and regional institutions, industry trade groups, clusters, technological parks, incubators, universities, etc.

The closing international conference entitled: “Digital transformation in medicine: average is dead!”, had taken place October 12th.
