In September 2015, Milan hosted the second edition of the event, which established itself as the major life sciences event in Italy.
It consisted of two days dedicated to bilateral meetings between companies, researchers and European investors interested in initiating technological and/or collaborations and including a workshop on the themes of Research and Innovation interterritorial projects in the health sector.
The closing conference – “The Life Sciences sector: a strategic opportunity for Italy’s economic development” – focused the debate on the new dynamics of development in the sector.
The initiative provided the opportunity of organizing business meetings between about 150 companies, investors and research groups, 16% of which foreign ones, amounting to over 600 meetings, 45% of which led to partnership agreements or further contacts after the conclusion of the event.
