Privacy and cookie policy

Dear User,

Pursuant to Regulation EU 679/2016 “General Data Protection Regulation” (hereinafter “Regulation EU 679/2016”), Cluster Alisei, as Data Controller, asks you to read the following informational notice which contains information on the use of Your personal data. This notice does not apply to any other web sites that may be accessed through links from this site, for which Cluster Alisei has no responsibilities.

Browsing Data

In the course of their normal operations, the IT systems and software procedures designated to the operation of this site acquire some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.

These data are not collected in order to associate them with identified data subjects, but, due to their nature, they may allow users to be identified, through processing and association with data held by third parties.

These data include IP addresses or the domain names of computers utilized by users who access the site, URLs (Uniform Resource Locators) of the requested resources, time of the request, method used to submit the request to the server, size of the response file obtained, numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters related to the operating system and to the user’s IT environment.

These data are only collected to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check that it works properly.

These data may also be used, upon request by judicial authorities and subject to guarantees provided by the law, to ascertain responsibilities in case of computer crime against the site.

The site does not use cookies to transmit personal information.

Cookies
No user personal data is acquired by the website through cookies. The site does not use cookies to transmit personal data and it does not use persistent cookies of any type, that is systems to track users.

Session cookies (i. e. cookies that are not persistently saved on the user’s computer but are erased when the browser is closed) are only used to send session identifiers (random numbers generated by the server) to ensure safe and efficient browsing of the site.

Session cookies used in this website prevent the use of other IT techniques that could potentially jeopardize the user’s browsing privacy and do not allow the acquisition of identifiable personal data about the user.

In any case, in addition to these provisions, you also have other options to browse the web without cookies.

Block Third Party Cookies

Third party cookies are generally not necessary to browse; therefore, you may disable them by default with specific functions of your browser.

Enable the Do Not Track Option

Most last-generation browsers offer the Do Not Track option. Sites designed to accept this option should automatically stop collecting some of your browsing data when this option is enabled. However, not all web sites are designed to allow this option (discretionary).

Enable “Anonymous Browsing”

This function allows you to surf the web without leaving any browsing traces in your browser. Sites will not remember you, the web pages you visit will not be saved in chronology and new cookies will be deleted.

The “anonymous browsing” function does not guarantee anonymity on the Internet because it only prevents the saving of browsing data on the browser, but your browsing data will still be available to web site managers and connectivity providers.

Delete Cookies Directly

All browsers have functions to do it. But remember that each time you access the Internet, new cookies are downloaded. Therefore, cookies should be deleted regularly. Some browsers offer automated systems to delete cookies periodically.

Optional Data

Apart from what stated above with regard to browsing data, users may provide personal data in forms made available by the Supervisory Authority or in contacts with the Office to request information material or other communications.

Failure to provide them may make it impossible to obtain what has been requested.

It should be pointed out that in some cases (which are not included in the ordinary management of this site) the Supervisory Authority may request data and information pursuant to Regulation EU 679/2016 for the purposes of personal data treatment control.

In this case it is mandatory to provide such data and failure to comply is subject to an administrative penalty.
