Lucia Migliore

L.M. is Full Professor of Medical Genetics at the University of Pisa. She has extensive experience in biomonitoring of human populations exposed to environmental agents; genetic susceptibility, epigenetic and environmental factors involved in complex diseases.

She  published >160 peer reviewed scientific articles. Invited speaker at many national and international meetings. She spent periods in Leiden (Department of Radiation Genetics and Chemical Mutagenesis, State University of Leiden, NL)  and at the School of Applied Sciences, The Robert Gordon University ad Aberdeen (UK). She was responsible of  many national and European projects funded by National Research Council, Italian Ministry of Education, Italian Ministry of Work, Italian Ministry of Defence, Italian Ministry of Health, British Council/CRUI,  Osato (Japan), Istituto Toscano Tumori, European Union (two FP7 Projects: NanoReTox and Sanowork). She was Director of the Specialization School on Applied Genetics. She was among the founding members and coordinator of the Epigenetic working group of the Italian Society of Human Genetics.
