MEET in Italy for life sciences // Rome, October 13-14, 2026

2026 Edition

On 13 and 14 October, MEET returns to Rome, at Confindustria’s Auditorium della Tecnica,  in an innovative format that combines a programme of forward-looking forums and workshops, a matching platform, an exhibition for the game-changers of the life sciences ecosystem, and a programme of meetings for innovators, investors, and professionals in technology transfer and open innovation.

A unique event serving as a think tank and innovation hub, it will bring organisations, businesses, professionals and institutions from across Europe and the world to Italy, promoting Italy’s value in the life sciences: from research to treatment, right through to business.

The Pillars of MEET: from the Conference to the Matching Programme and the Innovation Programme

MEET comprises four closely integrated pillars: the Conference, featuring forums and in-depth sessions on cutting-edge topics; Matching, comprising B2B, B2R and the Exhibition, with a platform dedicated to targeted meetings between ecosystem stakeholders; Thematic Workshops, spaces for practical work and the exchange of ideas; and the Innovation Programme, dedicated to promoting the most promising start-ups and innovations and facilitating meetings with global investors.

From the European Strategy for the Life Sciences to Italy’s competitiveness: the themes of the conferences

The MEET Institutional Conference takes its cue from the European Strategy for Life Sciences, with the first day focusing on dialogue with the main national ministries and Italian and European institutions that influence the competitive dynamics and growth trajectories of the life sciences sector. The second day, however, shifts the focus to a national level, working through public-private dialogue to identify competitive levers, strategic policies and assets to be leveraged to ensure research, innovation and health.

An event open to the entire ecosystem

The event is open to the entire life sciences sector and the wider health ecosystem: businesses and industrial organisations, regional clusters, research bodies and stakeholders, institutions and public authorities, international and European organisations, healthcare professionals, start-ups, CEOs and managers in the health and life sciences sector, funds, business angels and investors.

A forum where every part of the sector can make its own contribution, maximising the sharing of visions and systemic strategies.
